The Last 7 months...

Well, we've been married for 7 months, so what have we been up to anyways?

We went to Maui for our honeymoon...

... and we've been destroying (I mean remodeling) our house...

Trenches in the basement for new drain lines...

A view of our tub from the outside...

Trench for new water line, buried electrical, cable and phone lines...

A new hole in the house...

And Sarah just loves this hole in the kitchen where one of the chimneys used to be...

We also went to Clara and Olive's ballet (Sarah's nieces)...

Mariner's homecoming game of my childhood hero... Ken Griffey Jr.

Spirit of Washington Dinner Train with my family...

Learning how to ride a bike...

Riding bikes with Derek and Sara Pearson...
My cousin Larry got married...

Sarah and I at Sarah's grandmother's funeral... and a couple of months later was her grandpa's funeral, it has been very hard losing these two very very special people...

My 10-year class reunion...

And a very special visit from our Irish friends, Russell & Lynn!

...And our first snow of the season! Happy Holidays everyone!

You two have been having a great time!!! (minus the funerals...we lost the last of our grandparents 2 years ago within 4 months.) Your house project: WOW! Can't wait to see the end the result! Your wedding pictures are awesome.

That is an impressive summary or your year! Welcome to the blogging thing. Your remodel productivity will now drop as you entertain yourself taking photos and posting :)

One thing about having a blog is that you have to update it. Now! ;)

Ahhh the memories these photos bring back!!! You too will survive the remodeling! We had a chimney hole in our kitchen just like yours. My grandma told us remodeling builds more than just a house, it builds character.
